Since 2016, members of the Alumni Network have been supporting dedicated and talented students through the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. Thanks to our members’ support, we have been able to finance a large number of scholarships in the past.

By making a donation to the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship program, you do not only support committed and talented students in an important phase of their life, but also contribute to strengthening your alma mater as an educational and research institution.

This year, we want to once again invite you to support students with a donation to the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. You can either take over one or more entire scholarships or support students by making a smaller contribution and joining forces with other members of the network. Find out why other donors support young students via the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship here:

With the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship, the positive impact of your donation will be twice as high: The federal government will cover half of the amount of each privately-funded scholarship. Each scholarship recipient will receive EUR 300 per month, with EUR 150 stemming from private donations and another EUR 150 from federal funding. Your donation is tax-deductible.

This is where our Alumni community in Bonn unfolds its full potential: While full sponsorships (EUR 1,800 per year) are possible, many smaller contributions combined can also have a substantial impact. Your Alumni Network and the University of Bonn Foundation collect all donations, and every time we reach a total of EUR 1,800, the University of Bonn can grant another scholarship.
